Mike Lewis started The Sign Store in Macon Georgia in August of 1998 as a simple, two-person sign shop. Over the years we have added stores, increased sales and services and have grown to three retail locations, with one production facility that handles production for all retail stores and many wholesale customers in the middle Georgia area and has around 20 employees to become one of the largest full service sign stores in Georgia.

We have added services such as CNC routing to create custom dimensional signs, routed aluminum letters, routed HDU architectural signs and custom sign panels and hanging brackets. Our sheet metal shop fabricates lighted sign cabinets, decorative scroll brackets and commercial awnings. The Sign Store's digital printing capabilities include wholesale and retail large format printing with two Roland Sol Jet printers capable of 54” and 74” prints on paper, vinyl, banners, view thru substrates and trade show materials. Our McDermid 9840 UV printer can digitally print directly to substrates such as corplast, renobond, pvc, ultra board and acrylic. Our capability to print up to 8’ wide helps us maintain a quick turnaround for wholesale customers
